Our story
It started with a café.
We opened Bella's Corner in Mona Vale in October 2025. Not long after opening, our cookies became one of the most popular things in the cabinet. Customers regularly asked if they could buy boxes, send them as gifts or order them online, so we decided to create The Good Batch Co.
Today, every cookie is still baked in our Mona Vale kitchen and packed by hand before being shipped across Australia.
Small batch, always
We don't mass produce. Every cookie is made in small batches by Lara — which means every single one gets the attention it deserves.
No shortcuts
No preservatives, nothing artificial. Just quality ingredients that taste the way baked goods are supposed to taste.
Community first
This all started because our community asked for it. Everything we do is built around the people who walk through our door — or order at their door.
About us
A little about us.
We're Lara and Claire, life partners, business partners, and the team behind Bella's Corner and The Good Batch Co.
We started Bella's Corner because we wanted to build a business together — something we could grow, learn from and be proud of. Watching people come back for our cookies week after week made us realise they deserved more than just a spot in the café cabinet. The Good Batch Co. was our way of sharing them with more people.
Lara has always loved baking and is the one behind every recipe at The Good Batch Co. She spends her days testing, baking and refining every batch until it's exactly how she wants it. When the cookies became one of the most popular things at Bella's Corner, it felt right to share them beyond the café.
Claire is the one who brings the personal touch. She loves chatting with customers, getting to know the people who support us and making sure every interaction feels genuine. From the way an order is packaged to the little details people might not even notice, she's always thinking about how to make someone's day a little better.
